यदा तु नाडीशुद्धिः स्यात्तथा चिह्नानि बाह्यतः । कायस्य कृशता कान्तिस्तदा जायते निश्चितम् ॥ २.१९ ॥ |
yadā tu nāḍīśuddhiḥ syāttathā cihnāni bāhyataḥ । kāyasya kṛśatā kāntistadā jāyate niścitam ॥ 2.19 ॥ |

Nāḍī - the subtle energy channels
Śuddhiḥ - purity
Syāt - exists
Tathā - so, than, to this, like that
Cihnāni - signs,
Bāhyataḥ - external
Kāyasya - the body
Kṛśatā - Slimming
Kāntiḥ - grace, beauty, brilliance
Tadā - then
Jāyate - is formed
Niścitam - certainly, surely || 19 || |
When the nâdîs become pure, signs of cleansing (removal of impurities) and a glow appear on the body. |
