इत्यादयो महासिद्धा हठयोगप्रभावतः । खण्डयित्वा कालदण्डं ब्रह्माण्डे विचरन्ति ते ॥ १.९ ॥ |
ityādayo mahāsiddhā haṭhayogaprabhāvataḥ । khaṇḍayitvā kāladaṇḍaṃ brahmāṇḍe vicaranti te ॥ 1.9 ॥ |
| Ity-ādayaḥ - these and others;
Mahā-siddhāḥ - great masters;
Haṭha-yoga - (of) Hatha Yoga;
Prabhāvataḥ - by power, power;
Khaṇḍayitvā - after they have broken;
Kāla - the time or the death;
Daṁadṁ - staff, or axis or line;
Brahma-aṇḍe - in the universe, in the world;
Vicaranti - walk around;
Te - theses. |
These mahâsiddhas (great masters), humiliating Time itself (Death), roam about the Universe by the power of Hatha Yoga. |
