अथ भद्रासनम्
गुल्फौ च वृषणस्याधः सीवन्याः पार्श्वयोः क्षिप्ते ।
सव्यगुल्फं तथा सव्ये दक्षगुल्फं तु दक्षिणे ॥ १.५५ ॥ |
atha bhadrāsanam
gulphau ca vṛṣaṇasyādhaḥ sīvanyāḥ pārśvayoḥ kṣipte ।
savyagulphaṃ tathā savye dakṣagulphaṃ tu dakṣiṇe ॥ 1.55 ॥ |
Atha - now;
Bhadra-āsanam - pleasent posture;
Gulphau - both ankles;
Ca - and;
Vrashaṇasya - of the testicles;
Adhaḥ - below;
Sīvanyāḥ - raphe of Perineum;
Pārśvayoḥ - on both sides;
Kṣipet - direct upon;
Savya - left;
Gulphaṁ - ankle;
Tathā - and, likewise;
Savye - to the left;
Dakṣa - right;
Gulphaṁ - ankle;
Tu - however;
Dakshiṇe - to the right.

Now for Bhadrasana: Place both heels on either side of the edge of the perineum, hold the left ankle on the left side and the right one on the right side.
