सिंहासनं भवेदेतत्पूजितं योगिपुङ्गवैः ।
बन्धत्रितयसन्धानं कुरुते चासनोत्तमम् ॥ १.५४ ॥ |
siṃhāsanaṃ bhavedetatpūjitaṃ yogipuṅgavaiḥ ।
bandhatritayasandhānaṃ kurute cāsanottamam ॥ 1.54 ॥ |
Siṁhāsanaṁ - lion posture;
Bhavet - is, be;
Etad - that, this;
Pūjitaṁ - honored, valued;
Yogi - yogi;
Puṅgavaiḥ - from the best;
Bandha - Bandha;
Tritaya - for all three;
Sandhānaṁ - Association;
Kuruté - to do, to make;
Ca - and;
Āsana - asana;
Uttamam - best.

The greatest holiness is achieved by Yogis in Simhásana. This excellent Ásana connects all three Bandhas (Múlabandha, Jálandhar Bandha and Uddiyána Bandha).
