अथ सिंहासनम्
गुल्फौ च वृषणस्याधः सीवन्याः पार्श्वयोः क्षिपेत् । दक्षिणे सव्यगुल्फं तु दक्षगुल्फं तु सव्यके ॥ १.५२ ॥ |
atha siṃhāsanam
gulphau ca vṛṣaṇasyādhaḥ sīvanyāḥ pārśvayoḥ kṣipet ।
dakṣiṇe savyagulphaṃ tu dakṣagulphaṃ tu savyake ॥ 1.52 ॥ |
Atha - now;
Siṁha-āsanam - lion posture;
Gulphau - both ankles;
Ca - and;
Vrashansya - testicles;
Adhaḥ - below;
Sīvanyāḥ - Perineal raphe;
Pārśvayoḥ - on both sides;
Kṣipet - direct upon;
Dakshiṇe - on the right;
Savya - left;
Gulphaṁ - ankle;
Tu - but;
Dakṣa - right;
Gulphaṁ - ankle;
Tu - however;
Savyake - to the left.

While seated press the heels on both sides of the perineum such that the left heel touches the right side of the perineum and the right heel touches the left side of the perineum.
