नादोऽन्तरङ्गसारङ्गबन्धने वागुरायते ।
अन्तरङ्गकुरङ्गस्य वधे व्याधायतेऽपि च ॥ ४.९४ ॥ |
nādo'ntaraṅgasāraṅgabandhane vāgurāyate ।
antaraṅgakuraṅgasya vadhe vyādhāyate'pi ca ॥ 4.94 ॥ |
Nādaḥ: (the undefeated) sound, sound (nada)
Antar-aṅga: (in the form of) mind (antaranga)
Sāraṅga: (the) antelope (Saranga)
Bandhane: in terms of capturing ("banding", bandhana)
Vāgurāyate: is like a net (vagura)
Antar-aṅga: (in the form of) the mind ("inner link")
Kuraṅgasya: the antelope (Kuranga)
Vadhe: concerning the killing (Vadha)
Vyādhāyate: is like a hunter (Vyadha)
Api: also (Api)
Ca: and (Cha) || 94 ||

The Nada (the sound) is the snare for catching the mind, and if it can be caught like a deer, it can be killed like one.
