सर्वचिन्तां परित्यज्य सावधानेन चेतसा ।
नाद एवानुसन्धेयो योगसाम्राज्यं इच्छता ॥ ४.९३ ॥ |
sarvacintāṃ parityajya sāvadhānena cetasā ।
nāda evānusandheyo yogasāmrājyaṃ icchatā ॥ 4.93 ॥ |
Sarva: all (sarva)
Cintāṃ: Thoughts (Chinta)
Parityajya: surrendering ("giving up", pari + tyaj)
Sa-avadhānena: with concentrated (Sa-Avadhana)
Cetasā: Spirit (Chetas)
Nādaḥ: (the undefeated) sound, sound (nada)
Eva: only, alone (Eva)
Anusandheyaḥ: should be the focus of attention (Anusandheya)
Yoga: (of) yoga
Sāmrājyam: (after) full domination (Samrajya)
Icchatā: (a yogi with the) desire ("wishing", iṣ) || 93 ||

Those desirous of the Kingdom of Yoga should take up the practice of listening to the anâhata nâda with a mind that is collected and free of all cares.
