दिव्यदेहश्च तेजस्वी दिव्यगन्धस्त्वरोगवान् ।
सम्पूर्णहृदयः शून्य आरम्भे योगवान्भवेत् ॥ ४.७१ ॥ |
divyadehaśca tejasvī divyagandhastvarogavān ।
sampūrṇahṛdayaḥ śūnya ārambhe yogavānbhavet ॥ 4.71 ॥ |
Divya: divine, heavenly (is, Divya)
Dehaḥ: (one whose) body (Deha)
Ca: and (Cha)
Tejasvī: radiant, luminous (is, Tejasvin)
Divya: divine, heavenly (is)
Gandhaḥ: (one whose) smell, fragrance (Gandha)
Tu: but (Tu)
Arogavān: healthy (who has "no sickness", a-roga-vant)
Sampūrṇa *: is satisfied (Sampurna)
Hṛdayaḥ *: (one whose heart) (Hridaya)
Śūnye **: in the void (Shunya, i.e. the Anahata Chakra)
Ārambhe: (when) at the beginning (the sound is heard, Arambha)
Yogavān: (the) yogi (who "has yoga")
Bhavet: (then) becomes (bhū) || 71 ||

In the ârambha, the yogî's body becomes divine, glowing, healthy, and emits a divine smell. The whole of his heart
becomes empty.
