मुक्तासने स्थितो योगी मुद्रां सन्धाय शाम्भवीम् ।
शृणुयाद्दक्षिणे कर्णे नादं अन्तास्थं एकधीः ॥ ४.६७ ॥ |
muktāsane sthito yogī mudrāṃ sandhāya śāmbhavīm ।
śṛṇuyāddakṣiṇe karṇe nādaṃ antāsthaṃ ekadhīḥ ॥ 4.67 ॥ |
Mukta-āsane *: in the liberated, dissolved seat (Muktasana)
Sthitaḥ: sitting ("located", Sthita)
Yogī: (the) yogi
Mudrāṃ: (the) seal (mudra)
Sandhāya: taking ("having compound", sam + dhā)
Śāmbhavīm: (named) Shambhavi
Śṛṇuyāt: lausche (śru)
Dakṇiṇe: in the right (Dakshina)
Karṇe: ear (Karna)
Nādam **: sound (nada)
Antaḥ-stham **: (on the) inside (Antahstha)
Eka-dhīḥ: concentrated ("one spirit", Eka-Dhi) || 67 ||

Sitting in Mukta Âsana with Sâmbhavî, the yogî should hear the sound inside his right ear, with a concentrated mind.
