ज्ञेयं सर्वं प्रतीतं च ज्ञानं च मन उच्यते । ज्ञानं ज्ञेयं समं नष्टं नान्यः पन्था द्वितीयकः ॥ ४.६० ॥

jñeyaṃ sarvaṃ pratītaṃ ca jñānaṃ ca mana ucyate । jñānaṃ jñeyaṃ samaṃ naṣṭaṃ nānyaḥ panthā dvitīyakaḥ ॥ 4.60 ॥

Jñeyaṃ: (know what), can be known (Jneya) Sarvaṃ: everything (Sarva) Pratītaṃ: (what) experienced, has been known (Pratita) Ca: and (Cha) Jñānaṃ: (the act of) knowledge, experience, knowledge (Jnana) Ca: and Manas: spirit (manas) Ucyate: is called (vac) Jñānaṃ: (the act of) knowledge, experience, knowledge Jñeyaṃ: (and what is known) can be known Samaṃ: velvet (the spirit, sama) Naṃaṃ: (as soon as) has disappeared (Nashta) Na: not (left over, na) Anyaḥ: (a) other (anya) Panthā: way (pantha) Dvitīyakaḥ: second (Dvitiyaka) || 60 ||


When the knowable and the knowledge are both destroyed equally, then there is no other way (i.e., duality is destroyed).
