खमध्ये कुरु चात्मानं आत्ममध्ये च खं कुरु ।
सर्वं च खमयं कृत्वा न किंचिदपि चिन्तयेत् ॥ ४.५५ ॥ |
khamadhye kuru cātmānaṃ ātmamadhye ca khaṃ kuru ।
sarvaṃ ca khamayaṃ kṛtvā na kiṃcidapi cintayet ॥ 4.55 ॥ |
Kha: (the) space (kha)
Madhye: in the middle (Madhya)
Kuru: bring ("make", kṛ)
Ca: and (Cha)
Ātmānam: (your) self (Atman)
Ātma: (your own) self
Madhye: in the middle (Madhya)
Ca: and
Khaṃ: (the) space
Kuru: bring ("do")
Sarvaṃ: everything (Sarva)
Ca: and
Kha-mayaṃ: (to) space ("out of space", Kha-Maya)
Kṛtvā: making ("made", kṛ)
Na: not (Na)
Kiñ-cid: anything (Kinchid)
Api: also (Api)
Cintayet: think (cint) || 55 ||

Keep the âtmâ inside the Kha (Brahma) and place Brahma inside your âtmâ. Having pervaded all with Kha (Brahma), think of nothing else.
