शक्तिमध्ये मनः कृत्वा शक्तिं मानसमध्यगाम् ।
मनसा मन आलोक्य धारयेत्परमं पदम् ॥ ४.५४ ॥ |
śaktimadhye manaḥ kṛtvā śaktiṃ mānasamadhyagām ।
manasā mana ālokya dhārayetparamaṃ padam ॥ 4.54 ॥ |
Śakti: (the Kundalini) energy (Shakti)
Madhye: in the middle (Madhya)
Manas: the spirit (manas)
Kṛtvā: (by bringing) ("made", kṛ)
Śaktiṃ: (and the Kundalini) energy
Mānasa: (in the) spirit (the "spiritual", Manasa)
Madhya-gām: (to be initiated) ("go to the center", Madhya gam)
Manasā: with the spirit
Manas: the spirit
Ālokya: (by looking) (ā + lok)
Dhārayet: (man) meditate ("hold in the consciousness", dhṛ)
Paramaṃ: (over the) highest (Parama)
Padam: location, condition (Pada) || 54 ||

Placing the mind in the Kundalini, and getting the latter into the mind, by then looking upon the Buddhi (intellect) with the mind (reflexively), the Parama Pada (Brahma) should be achieved.
