सोमाद्यत्रोदिता धारा साक्षात्सा शिववल्लभा ।
पूरयेदतुलां दिव्यां सुषुम्णां पश्चिमे मुखे ॥ ४.४६ ॥ |
somādyatroditā dhārā sākṣātsā śivavallabhā ।
pūrayedatulāṃ divyāṃ suṣumṇāṃ paścime mukhe ॥ 4.46 ॥ |
Somāt: from the moon (Soma)
Yatra: in their (execution, yatra)
Uditā: flows down ("goes out", Udita)
Dhārā: (a) stream (of nectar, dhara)
Sākṣāt: (is the) bodily ("in front", Sakshat)
Sā: these (Khechari, Tad)
Śiva: Shivas
Vallabhā: Beloved (Vallabha)
Pūrayet *: one fill (pṝ)
Atulāṃ: (the) incomparable (atula)
Divyāṃ: heavenly, divine (divya)
Suṇumṃāṃ: Sushumna
Paścime: in the rear (Pashchima)
Mukhe: mouth (space, Mukha) || 46 ||

The Khecharî, which causes the stream to flow from the Chandra (Shoma) is beloved of Shiva. The incomparable, divine Sushumnâ should be closed by means of the tongue folded over itself.
