सूर्च्याचन्द्रमसोर्मध्ये निरालम्बान्तरे पुनः । संस्थिता व्योमचक्रे या सा मुद्रा नाम खेचरी ॥ ४.४५ ॥ |
sūrcyācandramasormadhye nirālambāntare punaḥ । saṃsthitā vyomacakre yā sā mudrā nāma khecarī ॥ 4.45 ॥ |
| Sūryā: Sun (nkanal, Surya or Pingala)
Candra-masoḥ: (and) Moon (canal, Chandramas and Ida)
Madhye: between ("in the middle", Madhya)
Nir-ālamba: without supports (Niralamba)
Antare *: in (the) space ("gap", Antara)
Punaḥ: turn (Punar)
Saṃsthitā: is located, resting, appears (Samsthita)
Vyoma-chakre **: in (this) Heavenly Ground (Vyoma-Chakra)
Yā: which (Yad)
Sā: this (Tad)
Mudrā: Seal (Mudra)
Nāma: (has the) name (Naman)
Khe-carī: (Khechari, "the wandering in the air space") || 45 || |
That mudrâ is called Khecharî which is performed in the open space between the Sûrya and the Chandra (the Idâ and the Pingalâ) and is called the Vyoma Chakra. |
