सोऽयं एवास्तु मोक्षाख्यो मास्तु वापि मतान्तरे ।
मनःप्राणलये कश्चिदानन्दः सम्प्रवर्तते ॥ ४.३० ॥ |
so'yaṃ evāstu mokṣākhyo māstu vāpi matāntare ।
manaḥprāṇalaye kaścidānandaḥ sampravartate ॥ 4.30 ॥ |
So'yam (saḥ ayam): this (mentioned dissolution of the mind, (Tad Ayam)
Eva: just (Eva)
Astu: is ("be", as)
Mokṣa: (as) liberation, salvation (Moksha)
Ākhyaḥ: to be designated ("bearing the name", Akhya)
Mā: not (Ma)
Astu: (she) is ("be")
Vā: or (Va)
Api: also (Api)
Mata: Opinion (en, Mata)
Antare: (according to others) (Antara)
Manas: (the) spirit (manas)
Prāṇa: (and the) life-breath, breath (Prana)
Laye: at the resolution (Laya)
Kaś-cid: (an) indescribable ("certain, definite," Ka Chid)

This laya (absorption) is called moksha, or, if you are a sectarian, then you may not be allowed to call it moksha. but when the mind becomes absorbed, a sort of ecstacy is experienced.
