मूर्च्छितो हरते व्याधीन्मृतो जीवयति स्वयम् । बद्धः खेचरतां धत्ते रसो वायुश्च पार्वति ॥ ४.२७ ॥

mūrcchito harate vyādhīnmṛto jīvayati svayam । baddhaḥ khecaratāṃ dhatte raso vāyuśca pārvati ॥ 4.27 ॥

Mūrcchitaḥ *: (when) solidified ("coagulated, frozen", Murchhita) Harate: (he or he) destroyed ("takes away", hṛ) Vyādhīn: diseases (vyadhi) Mḥtaḥ: (when) died (Mrita) Jīvayati: (it) revives, lends (long) life (jīv) Svayam: self (Svayam) Baddhaḥ: (when) bound (Baddha) Khe-caratāṃ: (the ability) to fly (the "in the air space walking", Khechara-tā) Dhatte: (he or she) gives (dhā) Rasaḥ: (the) mercury (Rasa) Vāyuḥ: (the) life breath, breath, Prana ("wind", Vayu) Ca: and (Cha) Pārvati: oh Parvati ("daughter of the mountain") || 27 ||


O Pârvati! Both mercury and Vayu, when stabilized, destroy diseases and can revive the dead. By means of their (proper) control, moving through the air is achieved.
