सूर्यचन्द्रमसौ धत्तः कालं रात्रिन्दिवात्मकम् । भोक्त्री सुषुम्ना कालस्य गुह्यं एतदुदाहृतम् ॥ ४.१७ ॥

sūryacandramasau dhattaḥ kālaṃ rātrindivātmakam । bhoktrī suṣumnā kālasya guhyaṃ etadudāhṛtam ॥ 4.17 ॥

Time, in the form of night and day, is made by the sun and the moon. That the Sushumnâ devours even this time (Death) is a great secret.
