अमराय नमस्तुभ्यं सोऽपि कालस्त्वया जितः ।
पतितं वदने यस्य जगदेतच्चराचरम् ॥ ४.१३ ॥ |
amarāya namastubhyaṃ so'pi kālastvayā jitaḥ ।
patitaṃ vadane yasya jagadetaccarācaram ॥ 4.13 ॥ |
Amarāya: the immortal (Yogi, Amara)
Namas: worship, bowing (namas)
Tubhyaṁ: (be) to you (Tvad)
Saḥ: the (Tad)
Api: even, self (Api)
Kālaḥ: death ("time", Kala)
Tvayā: from you ("through you", Tvad)
Jitaḥ: has been defeated (Jita)
Patitaṁ: has fallen (Patita)
Vadane: throat (vadana)
Yasya: in whose (Yad)
Jagat: World (Jagat)
Etad: this (Etad)
Cara: moving (Chara)
Acaram: (and) immovable (Achara) || 13 ||

|
O Immortal one (i.e., this yogi who has achieved the condition of Samâdhi), I salute Thee! Even Death itself, into whose mouth the whole of this movable and immovable world has fallen, has been conquered by Thee.
