तेन कुण्डलिनी तस्याः सुषुम्णाया मुखं ध्रुवम् ।
जहाति तस्मात्प्राणोऽयं सुषुम्णां व्रजति स्वतः ॥ ३.११८ ॥ |
tena kuṇḍalinī tasyāḥ suṣumṇāyā mukhaṃ dhruvam ।
jahāti tasmātprāṇo'yaṃ suṣumṇāṃ vrajati svataḥ ॥ 3.118 ॥ |
Tena *: through this (pull up, Tad)
Kuṇḍalinī: (the) Kundalini
Tasyāḥ: the (Tad)
Suṇumṇāyā: Sushumna
Mukhaṁ: (the) opening ("mouth", Mukha)
Dhruvam: certainly (Dhruva)
Jahāti: leaves (hā)
Tasmāt: due to (tasmat)
Prāḥaḥ: life, prana
Ayaṁ: the (Ayam)
Suṇumṁāṁ: into the Sushumna
Vrajati: goes (a, vraj)
Svataḥ: by itself (Sva) || 118 ||

By means of this the Kundalinî unblocks the entrance to the Sushumnâ at once and the Prâna enters it of its own accord.
