इडापिङ्गलयोर्मध्ये बालरण्डा च कुण्डली ॥ ३.११० ॥ |
iḍā bhagavatī gaṅgā piṅgalā yamunā nadī ।
iḍāpiṅgalayormadhye bālaraṇḍā ca kuṇḍalī ॥ 3.110 ॥ |
Iḍā: Ida
Bhagavatī: is the glorious, sublime (Bhagavati)
Gaṅgā: Ganga ("Ganges")
Piṅgalā: Pingala
Yamunā: Yamuna
Nadī: (is the) river (Nadi)
Iḍā: Ida
Piṅgalayoḥ: (and) Pingala
Madhye: between ("in the middle", Madhya)
Bāla: (the) young (Bala)
Raṇḍā: widow (Randa)
Ca: and (Cha)
Kuṇḍalī: (is the) Kundali (ni) || 110 ||

The Idâ is also called the goddess Ganges and the Pingalâ is the goddess Yamunâ. Between the Idâ and the Pingalâ is the young widow, Kundalî.
