रक्षेदाकुञ्चनादूर्ध्वं या रजः सा हि योगिनी ।
अतीतानागतं वेत्ति खेचरी च भवेद्ध्रुवम् ॥ ३.१०२ ॥ |
rakṣedākuñcanādūrdhvaṃ yā rajaḥ sā hi yoginī ।
atītānāgataṃ vetti khecarī ca bhaveddhruvam ॥ 3.102 ॥ |
Rakṣet: can preserve (rakṣ)
Ākuñcanāt *: after raising (by contraction, Akunchana)
Ūrdhvaṁ: upwards, upwards (Urdhva)
Yā: (a woman) the (yad)
Rajas: (its own) fluid ("menstrual blood", rajas)
Sā: this (Tad)
Hi: sure (hi)
Yoginī: (is a) yogini
Atīta: (the) past ("the past", Atita)
Anāgataṁ: (and the) future ("the not yet come", Anagata)
Vetti: (she) knows (vid)
Khe-carī: to go in the air ("one in the air space," Khechari)
Ca: and (Cha)
Bhavet: (she herself) will (capable, bhū)
Dhruvam: certainly (Dhruva) || 102 ||

She who preserves her rajas by upward contraction is a yogini. She knows the past and the future and certainly attains perfection in Khechari.
