पुंसो बिन्दुं समाकुञ्च्य सम्यगभ्यासपाटवात् ।
यदि नारी रजो रक्षेद्वज्रोल्या सापि योगिनी ॥ ३.९९ ॥ |
puṃso binduṃ samākuñcya samyagabhyāsapāṭavāt ।
yadi nārī rajo rakṣedvajrolyā sāpi yoginī ॥ 3.99 ॥ |
Puḥsaḥ: the man (Pums)
Binduṁ: (the) seed (bindu)
Samākuñcya: (retired) in itself (sam + ā + kuñc)
Samyak: (from) real (samyak)
Abhyāsa: practicing, practicing (Abhyasa)
Pāṭavāt: due to the skill (gained, patava)
Yadi: if (Yadi)
Nārī: (a) woman (Nari)
Rajas *: (its own) fluid ("menstrual blood", rajas)
Rakṣet: to preserve (rakṣ)
Vajrolyā: by (the practice of) Vajroli
Sā: she (Tad)
Api: also (Api)
Yoginī: (is a) Yogini || 99 ||

|
If a woman, making herself expert through sufficient practice, helps the man retain his bindu and preserves her own through (the practice of) Vajroli, she also becomes a yogini.
