मेहनेन शनैः सम्यगूर्ध्वाकुञ्चनं अभ्यसेत् । पुरुषोऽप्यथवा नारी वज्रोलीसिद्धिं आप्नुयात् ॥ ३.८५ ॥ |
mehanena śanaiḥ samyagūrdhvākuñcanaṃ abhyaset । puruṣo'pyathavā nārī vajrolīsiddhiṃ āpnuyāt ॥ 3.85 ॥ |
| Mehanena: with the penis (mehana)
Śanaiḥ: slow (shanais)
Samyag: (to the right), right (Samyak)
Ūrdhva: (the) upwards, upwards (Urdhva)
Ākuñcanam *: drawing, sucking (of the sperm by the contraction of the penis or the vagina, Akunchana)
Abhyaset: practice, practice (abhi + as)
Puruḥaḥ: (a) man (Purusha)
Api: also (Api)
Atha vā: or (Atha Va)
Nārī: (a) woman (Nari)
Vajrolī: (in) Vajroli
Siddhim: Success, perfection (Siddhi)
Āpnuyāt: (so) can reach (āp) || 85 || |
By practising retraction of the bindu discharged during intercourse, whether one be a man or a woman, one obtains success in the practice of Vajrolî. |
