नित्यं अभ्यासयुक्तस्य जठराग्निविवर्धनी ।
आहारो बहुलस्तस्य सम्पाद्यः साधकस्य च ॥ ३.८० ॥ |
nityaṃ abhyāsayuktasya jaṭharāgnivivardhanī ।
āhāro bahulastasya sampādyaḥ sādhakasya ca ॥ 3.80 ॥ |
Nityam: daily ("always", Nitya)
Abhyāsa: (with this) practice (abhyasa)
Yuktasya: the one who is busy ("connected") (Yukta)
Jaṭhara: (the) abdomen (jathara)
Agni: (the) fire (Agni)
Vivardhanī: (this seal) multiplied, strengthened (Vivardhana)
Āhāraḥ: Food (Ahara)
Bahulaḥ: plentiful (Bahula)
Tasya: this (Tad)
Sampādyaḥ: should be procured (Sampadya)
Sādhakasya: Practitioners (Sadhaka)
Ca: and (Cha) || 80 ||

Place the top of the head on the ground and lift the feet toward the sky. Do this for a second only on the first day, and increase the time in this position daily.
