कण्ठसंकोचनेनैव द्वे नाड्यौ स्तम्भयेद्दृढम् । मध्यचक्रं इदं ज्ञेयं षोडशाधारबन्धनम् ॥ ३.७३ ॥

kaṇṭhasaṃkocanenaiva dve nāḍyau stambhayeddṛḍham । madhyacakraṃ idaṃ jñeyaṃ ṣoḍaśādhārabandhanam ॥ 3.73 ॥

The two Nâdîs should be stopped firmly by contracting the throat. This is called the middle circuit or center (Madhya Chakra), and it stops the six âdhâras (i.e., vital parts).
