जालन्धरे कृते बन्धे कण्ठसंकोचलक्षणे । न पीयूषं पतत्यग्नौ न च वायुः प्रकुप्यति ॥ ३.७२ ॥

jālandhare kṛte bandhe kaṇṭhasaṃkocalakṣaṇe । na pīyūṣaṃ patatyagnau na ca vāyuḥ prakupyati ॥ 3.72 ॥

In Jâlandhara Bandha, the indications of a perfect contraction of the throat are that the nectar does not fall into the fire (the Sûrya situated in the navel), and the Vayu is not disturbed.
