एकं सृष्टिमयं बीजं एका मुद्रा च खेचरी ।
एको देवो निरालम्ब एकावस्था मनोन्मनी ॥ ३.५४ ॥ |
ekaṃ sṛṣṭimayaṃ bījaṃ ekā mudrā ca khecarī ।
eko devo nirālamba ekāvasthā manonmanī ॥ 3.54 ॥ |
Ekaṁ: (there is only one) (original, Eka)
Sṛṣṭi-mayaṁ: (which manifests itself as) creation (Srishti-Maya)
Bījam *: germ (Bija, namely the "germ-seed" Om)
Ekā: (there is only) one (best)
Mudrā: Seal (Mudra)
Ca: and (Cha)
Khe-carī: (namely) Khechari ("the walking in the empty space")
Ekaḥ: (there is only one)
Devaḥ: God (Deva)
Nir-ālambaḥ: which is independent ("without support") (Niralamba)
Ekā: (there is only one) (highest)
Avasthā: Condition (Avastha)
Mana-unmanī: (the) spirit (it, which) is beyond the spirit (Manonmani) || 54 ||

There is only one seed from which the entire universe germinates, and there is only one mudrâ, called Khecharî.
There is only one deva (god), fully independent, and there is just one condition called manonmani.
