वशिष्ठाद्यैश्च मुनिभिर्मत्स्येन्द्राद्यैश्च योगिभिः । अङ्गीकृतान्यासनानि कथ्यन्ते कानिचिन्मया ॥ १.२० ॥ |
vaśiṣṭhādyaiśca munibhirmatsyendrādyaiśca yogibhiḥ । aṅgīkṛtānyāsanāni kathyante kānicinmayā ॥ 1.20 ॥ |
| Vasiṣṭha - Vasishtha;
Ādyaiḥ - etc., and others;
Ca - and, both;
Munibhiḥ - of the Wise;
Matsyendra - Matsyendra;
Ādyaiḥ - etc., and others;
Ca - and, as well;
Yogibhiḥ - from yogis;
Aṅgīkṛtāni - accepted, taken into account;
Āsanāni - Asanas;
Kathyante - are explained or taught;
Kāni-cin - some;
Mayā from me. |
I am going to describe certain âsanas that have been adopted by the sages (the great masters) such as Vasistha, etc., and the Yogîs such as Matsyendra, etc. |
