नित्यं सोमकलापूर्णं शरीरं यस्य योगिनः । तक्षकेणापि दष्टस्य विषं तस्य न सर्पति ॥ ३.४५ ॥

nityaṃ somakalāpūrṇaṃ śarīraṃ yasya yoginaḥ । takṣakeṇāpi daṣṭasya viṣaṃ tasya na sarpati ॥ 3.45 ॥

Nityaṁ: daily ("always", Nitya) Soma *: (the) moon (soma) Kalā *: (with the) nectar ("sixteenth", Kala) Pūrṁaṁ: full, filled (Purna) Ararīraṁ: body (Sharira) Yasya: whose (Yad) Yoginaḥ: (a) yogin Takṇakeṇa: from (the snake demon) Takshaka Api: even (Api) Daṣṭasya: (the) was bitten (Dashta) Viṁaṁ: (the) poison (Visha) Tasya: in this (Tad) Na: not (Na) Sarpati: spreads out ("sneaks in", sṛp) || 45 ||


If a yogî whose body is full of Somarasa (nectar) were to be bitten by a Takshaka (snake), its poison would not be able to permeate the body.
