चलितोऽपि यदा बिन्दुः सम्प्राप्तो योनिमण्डलम् । व्रजत्यूर्ध्वं हृतः शक्त्या निबद्धो योनिमुद्रया ॥ ३.४३ ॥ |
calito'pi yadā binduḥ samprāpto yonimaṇḍalam । vrajatyūrdhvaṃ hṛtaḥ śaktyā nibaddho yonimudrayā ॥ 3.43 ॥ |
| Calitaḥ: was shed ("has moved", Chalita)
Api: even (Api)
Yadā: if (Yada)
Binduḥ: (the) seed ("drop", bindu)
Samprāptaḥ: (and) has reached (Samprapta)
Yoni: (the) vagina (yoni)
Maṇḍalam: (the) area (mandala)
Vrajati: (he) goes (again, vraj)
Ūrdhvaṁ: upwards, upwards (Urdhva)
Hḥtaḥ: recorded, withdrawn (Hrita)
Śaktyā: with force, to the best (Shakti)
Nibaddhaḥ: controlled ("bound", Nibaddha)
Yoni-mudrayā *: by Yoni Mudra (i.e., Vajroli Mudra) || 43 || |
Even though the fluid flows and comes down to the genital organ, when it is arrested by the Yoni Mudra, it is forced upwards instead. |
