अथ भस्त्रिका
ऊर्वोरुपरि संस्थाप्य शुभे पादतले उभे । पद्मासनं भवेदेतत्सर्वपापप्रणाशनम् ॥ २.५९ ॥ |

ūrvorupari saṃsthāpya śubhe pādatale ubhe । padmāsanaṃ bhavedetatsarvapāpapraṇāśanam ॥ 2.59 ॥ |

|
Sitting cross-legged with the feet placed on the opposite thigh and the soles facing upward is called Padmásana, which is the destroyer of all sins.
