अथ भस्त्रिका ऊर्वोरुपरि संस्थाप्य शुभे पादतले उभे । पद्मासनं भवेदेतत्सर्वपापप्रणाशनम् ॥ २.५९ ॥

atha bhastrikā ūrvorupari saṃsthāpya śubhe pādatale ubhe । padmāsanaṃ bhavedetatsarvapāpapraṇāśanam ॥ 2.59 ॥

Atha - now Bhastrikā - Bhastrika Ūrvo-r - thigh Upari - on Saṁsthāpya - laying Śubhe - pure, calmly, beautiful Pāda - feet Tale - soles Ubhe - facing up Padma-āsanaṁ - lotus posture Bhaved - to be Etat - this Sarva - all Pāpa - evil, sins, Praṇāśanam - destroy || 59 ||


Sitting cross-legged with the feet placed on the opposite thigh and the soles facing upward is called Padmásana, which is the destroyer of all sins.
