भवेत्सत्त्वं च देहस्य सर्वोपद्रववर्जितः । अनेन विधिना सत्यं योगीन्द्रो भूमिमण्डले ॥ २.५६ ॥ |
bhavetsattvaṃ ca dehasya sarvopadravavarjitaḥ । anena vidhinā satyaṃ yogīndro bhūmimaṇḍale ॥ 2.56 ॥ |
Bhavet - arises, happens
Sattvaṁ - creative strength
Ca - and
Dehasya - the body
Sarva - all
Upadrava - evils, infirmities, adversities
Varjitaḥ - free of, not allowed
Anena - with this
Vidhinā - method
Satyaṁ - truly
Yogi - yogins
Indraḥ - Lord of the power
Bhūmi-maṇḍale - on planet Earth || 56 ||
|
|
(By the practice of sitkari) the Sattva of the body becomes strong and free of all impurities. It is true that the practicer of sitakri becomes the lord of the yogîs in this world.
