योगिनी चक्रसंमान्यः सृष्टिसंहारकारकः । न क्षुधा न तृषा निद्रा नैवालस्यं प्रजायते ॥ २.५५ ॥

yoginī cakrasaṃmānyaḥ sṛṣṭisaṃhārakārakaḥ । na kṣudhā na tṛṣā nidrā naivālasyaṃ prajāyate ॥ 2.55 ॥ |

Sammānyaḥ - stands in honor
Sṛṣṭi - creation
Saṁhāra - to destroy
Kārakaḥ - creator
Na - not, neither
Kṣudhā - hunger
Na - not, nor
Tṛṣā - thirst
Nidrā - sleep, drowsiness
Na - not, nor
Eva - certainly (Eva)
Ālasyaṁ - inertia, slackness, energy shortage
Prajāyate - arises, happens || 55 ||
|
|
He (who practices sitkari) is regarded as irresistible by female yogis and becomes a destroyer of creation. He is not afflicted by hunger, thirst, sleepiness or lassitude.
