प्राणायामैरेव सर्वे प्रशुष्यन्ति मला इति । आचार्याणां तु केषांचिदन्यत्कर्म न संमतम् ॥ २.३७ ॥ |
prāṇāyāmaireva sarve praśuṣyanti malā iti । ācāryāṇāṃ tu keṣāṃcidanyatkarma na saṃmatam ॥ 2.37 ॥ |

Eva - only, alone, exclusively
Sarve - all
Praśuṣyanti - disappear, dry out
Malāḥ - waste, impurities
Iti - so, in this way
Ācāryānāṁ - Teachers

Na - not
Saṁmatam - is appreciated, with respected || 37 || |
Some âchâryâs (teachers) do not advocate any practice other than this, being of the opinion that all impurities are removed by the practice of prânâyâma. |
