अथ नेतिः सूत्रं वितस्तिसुस्निग्धं नासानाले प्रवेशयेत् । मुखान्निर्गमयेच्चैषा नेतिः सिद्धैर्निगद्यते ॥ २.२९ ॥ |
atha netiḥ sūtraṃ vitastisusnigdhaṃ nāsānāle praveśayet । mukhānnirgamayeccaiṣā netiḥ siddhairnigadyate ॥ 2.29 ॥ |

Su-snigdhaṁ - well smooth dipped in milk, ghee, oil
Nāsā - the nose
Nāle - into the passage

Nirgamayet - bringing out

|
A cord made of thread, dipped in oil (su-snigdha) and then inserted through the nasal passage and pulled out through the mouth is called Neti Karma by yogis.
