अथ गरूड़ासनम्। जंघोरूभ्यां धरां पीड्य स्थिरकायो द्विजानुना। जानूपरिकरं युग्मं गरुडानमुच्यते ॥३२॥ |
atha garūḍa़āsanam। jaṃghorūbhyāṃ dharāṃ pīḍya sthirakāyo dvijānunā। jānūparikaraṃ yugmaṃ garuḍānamucyate ॥32॥ |
26.- THE GARUDASANA. |

Place the legs and the thighs on the ground pressing it, steady the body with the two knees, place the two hands on the knees: this is called the Garuda-posture. |
