तेषामेवानुकम्पार्थमहमज्ञानजं तमः ।नाशयाम्यात्मभावस्थो ज्ञानदीपेन भास्वता ॥ १०-११॥

teṣāmevānukampārthamahamajñānajaṃ tamaḥ ।nāśayāmyātmabhāvastho jñānadīpena bhāsvatā ॥ 10-11॥

तेषाम teṣām = of them.;

एव eva =   indeed (used as a rhythmic filler).;

अनुकम्पा anukampā  =   sympathy, compassion, lit. "trembling alongside.";

अर्थम artham  =  aim, goal, purpose. (anukampii-artha,  out of compassion.);

अहम aham  =   I.; 

अज्ञानजं ajñānajaṃ  =   ignorance-born, produced by ignorance.;

तमः tamas  =   darkness, murहम k, gUI.la of tamas.;

नाशयाम nāśayāmy =   I cause to be destroyed, I cause to be lost.;

आत्मभावस्थो ātmabhāvastho =   situated in own being, dwelling in own being.;

ज्ञानदीपेन jñānadīpena  =   by the lamp of knowledge, with the lantern of knowledge.;

भास्वता bhāsvatā  =   shining, luminous, bright.
