| Bhagavadgíta,-संन्यासयोगः saṃnyāsayogaḥ, (S.-1, Ch.-5, V.-5) |
यत्साङ्ख्यैः प्राप्यते स्थानं तद्योगैरपि गम्यते । एकं साङ्ख्यं च योगं च यः पश्यति स पश्यति ॥ ५-५॥ |
yatsāṅkhyaiḥ prāpyate sthānaṃ tadyogairapi gamyate । ekaṃ sāṅkhyaṃ ca yogaṃ ca yaḥ paśyati sa paśyati ॥ 5-5॥ |
यद = yad (n. nom. sg.), which, what. साङ्ख्ये = sāṅkhyaiḥ (m. inst. pl.), by the Sarilkhyas, by the followers of the SariJkhya doctrine. प्राप्यते = prāpyate (3rd sg. pr. passive pra .j iip), it is attained, it is obtained, it is reached. स्थानं = sthānaṃ (n. acc. sg.), place, standing, posi-tion. तद = tad (n. nom. sg.), this, that. योगे = yogai (m. inst. pl.), by Yogas, by the fol-lowers of Yoga. अपि = api, also, even. गम्यते = gamyate (3rd sg. pr. passive .j gam), it is at-tained, it is gone to, it is reached. एकं = ekam (m. acc. sg.), one. साङ्ख्यं = sāṅkhyaṃ (m. acc. sg.), SariJkhya. च = ca, and. योगं = yogam (m. acc. sg.), Yoga. च = ca, and. यः = yah (m. nom. sg.), who. पश्यति = paśyati (3rd sg. pr. indic. act. .jpas), he per-ceives, he sees. स = sa (m. nom. sg.), he. पश्यतिm= paśyati (3rd sg. pr. indie. act. .jpas), he per-ceives, he sees. |
Men of selfless action attain the position, which is attained by men of renunciation. Therefore one, who sees that the ways of renunciation and of selfless action are one in result, sees the reality. ||5-5||
