Bhagavadgita,-अर्जुनविषादयोगः arjunaviṣādayogaḥ, (S.-1, Ch.-1, V.-18)

द्रुपदो द्रौपदेयाश्च सर्वशः पृथिवीपते । सौभद्रश्च महाबाहुः शङ्खान्दध्मुः पृथक् पृथक् ॥१-१८॥

drupado draupadejāśča sarvaśaḣ pṛthivīpate । saubhadraśča mahābāhuḣ śańkhāndadhmuḣ pṛthakpṛthak ॥1-18॥



द्रुपदो drupado (m. nom. sg.), "Rapid Step," king of the Pancalas and father of Sikhandin and DraupadI, the 'latter the common wife of the five Pandava princes. द्रौपदेया draupadey (m. nom. pl.), the sons of Draupadi.; ca, and.; सर्वशः sarvasas (adv.), = altogether, wholly, entirely.; पृथिवीपते pṛthivīpate (m. voc. sg.), = Lord of the Earth, refers here to Dhratrashtra, to whom the scene is being described by Sanjaya.; सौभद्र saubhadraś (m. nom. sg.), = the son of Subhadra, viz., Abhimanyu, son of Arjuna and Subhadra, his second wife.; महा mahā = strong, mighty.; बाहुः bāhuḥ (m. nom. sg.), = arm.(mahābāhuḥ, nom. sg., BY cpd., having mighty arms.); शङ्खान्दध्मुः śaṅkhāndadhmuḥ (m. acc. pl.), = conch horns.; dadhmus (3rd pI. perfect act. *dhma), they blew.; पृथक्पृथक् pṛthakpṛthak, = one by one, respectively, each in tum.



And also Drupada, the five sons of Draupadi, and the mighty armed son of Subhadra (Abhimanyu), all of them blew their respective conch shells again and again. ||1-18||
