अथवा योगिनामेव कुले भवति धीमताम् ।एतद्धि दुर्लभतरं लोके जन्म यदीदृशम् ॥ ६-४२॥

athavā yogināmeva kule bhavati dhīmatām । etaddhi durlabhataraṃ loke janma yadīdṛśam ॥ 6-42॥

अथवा = athavā, or else, otherwise.; 

योगिनाम = yoginām (m. gen. pl.), of yogins.; 

एव = eva, indeed (used as a rhythmic filler).; 

कुले = kule (n. loco sg.), in the family.; 

भवति = bhavati (3rd sg. pro indic. act. JbhU), he comes to be, he exists.; 

धीमताम् = dhīmatām (m. gen. pl.), of the wise, of the learned ones.; 

एतद = etad (n. nom. sg.), this.; 

हि = hi, indeed, truly.; 

दुर्लभतरं = durlabhataram (n. nom. sg. comparative), more difficult to attain, harder to obtain.; 

लोके = loke (m. loco sg.), in the world.; 

जन्म = janma (n. nom. sg.), birth.; 

यद = yad (n. nom. sg.), which.; 

दृशम् = dṛśam (n. nom. sg.), such, of such a kind.
