जन्म कर्म च मे दिव्यमेवं यो वेत्ति तत्त्वतः । त्यक्त्वा देहं पुनर्जन्म नैति मामेति सोऽर्जुन ॥ ४-९॥

janma karma ca me divyamevaṃ yo vetti tattvataḥ । tyaktvā dehaṃ punarjanma naiti māmeti so'rjuna ॥ 4-9॥

जन्म = janma (n. acc. sg.), birth.; 

कर्म = karma (n. acc. sg.), action, deeds.; 

च = ca, and.; 

मे = me (gen. sg.), of me, my.; 

दिव्य = divyam (n. acc. sg.), divine, heavenly, god-like.; 

एवं = evam, thus.; 

यो = yo (m. nom. sg.), who.; 

वेत्ति = vetti (3rd sg. pr. indic. act. *vid), he knows.; 

तत्त्वतः = tattvatas (adv.), "by thatness," by the truth about, in truth, truly.; 

त्यक्त्वा = tyaktva (gerund *tyaj), leaving, renouncing, abandoning, having left, having aban-doned.; 

देहं = deham (n. acc. sg.), body, material body.; 

पुनर्जन्म = punarjanma (n. acc. sg.), "again birth," re-birth; 

न = na, not.; 

एति = eti (3rd sg. pr. indic. act . *i), he goes, he comes.; 

माम = mam (m. acc. sg.), me, to me.; 

एति = eti (3rd sg. pr. indic. act. *i), he goes, he comes.; 

स = sas (m. nom. sg.), he, the, this.;
