परित्राणाय साधूनां विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम् । धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय सम्भवामि युगे युगे ॥ ४-८॥

paritrāṇāya sādhūnāṃ vināśāya ca duṣkṛtām । dharmasaṃsthāpanārthāya sambhavāmi yuge yuge ॥ 4-8॥

परित्राणाय = paritranaya (n. dat. sg. from pari *tra), to refuge, to protecting, to preservation, to deliverance.; 

साधूनां = sādhūnāṃ (m. gen. pl.), of the righteous, of the good, of the virtuous ones.; 

विनाशाय = vināśāya (m. dat. sg. from vi *nas), to the destruction, to the loss, to the perishing.; 

च = ca, and.; 

दुष्कृताम् = duṣkṛtām (m. gen. pl.), of evil doers, of doers of wicked deeds.; 

धर्म = dharma (m.), righteousness, duty, law.; 

संस्थापन = saṃsthāpana sthtipana (pr. causative noun from sam *stha), the establishing.; 

अर्थाय = arthaya (m. dat. sg.), for the purpose of, with the aim of, for the sake of. (धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय dharmasamsthtipanarthtiya, m. dat. sg. TP cpd., for the sake of the establishing of righteousness. ); 

सम्भवामि = sambhavami (rst sg. pr. indic. act. sam *bhu), I come into being, I originate my-self.; 

युगे युगे = yuge yuge (n. loco sg.), from age to age, in age after age.
