कर्मणैव हि संसिद्धिमास्थिता जनकादयः ।लोकसङ्ग्रहमेवापि सम्पश्यन्कर्तुमर्हसि ॥ ३-२०॥

karmaṇaiva hi saṃsiddhimāsthitā janakādayaḥ ।lokasaṅgrahamevāpi sampaśyankartumarhasi ॥ 3-20॥

कर्मन karmana (n. inst. sg.), by action, by deeds.; 

एव eva, indeed, only (often used as a rhythmic filler).; 

हि hi, indeed, truly.; 

संसिद्धिम samsiddhim (f. acc. sg.), perfection, fulfillment, success.; 

अस्थिता asthita (m. nom. pI. p. pass. participle a..*stha), attained, obtained.; 

जनक janaka, * name of an ancient philosopher-king.; 

अदयः adayas (m. nom. pl.), commencing with, be-ginning with, (as BV cpd.) "they whose first was," the Sanskrit equivalent of "and so forth," "etcetera," "and others."  (जनकादयः janakiidayas, m. nom. pI. BV cpd., those (kings) whose first was Janaka.); 

लोक loka (m.), world.; 

सङ्ग्रह samgraham (m. acc. sg.), holding together, maintenance. loka-samgraham (m. acc. sg. TPcpd.), maintenance of the world.; 

एव eva, indeed (used as a rhythmic filler).; 

अपि api, even, also.; 

सम्पश्यन sampasyan (m. nom. sg. pI. participle act. sam *pas), beholding, seeing, observing.; 

कर्तुम kartum (infinitive */kr:), to act, to do.; 

अर्हसि arhasi (2nd sg. pr. indie. act. *arh), thou shouldst, thou art obliged, thou art able.
