Atmabodha,-Revelling in FREEDOM, (S.-1, Ch.-8, V.-63)

जगद्विलक्षणं ब्रह्म ब्रह्मणोऽन्यन्न किंचन । ब्रह्मान्यद्भाति चेन्मिथ्या यथा मरुमरीचिका ॥ ६३॥

jagadvilakṣaṇaṃ brahma brahmaṇo'nyanna kiṃcana । brahmānyadbhāti cenmithyā yathā marumarīcikā ॥ 63॥

1 Jagad vilakshanam brahma 2 brahmanah anyat na kinchana; Brahman is counter-indicated by the universe. There exists nothing other than Brahman. If anything other than Brahman shines, it must 3 brahmaanyat bhaati chet mithyaa be unreal, 4 yathaa maru-maree-chikaa. just as the unreal mirage.

Brahma is entirely different from universe, but there exists nothing in the universe that is not Brahma. If any object in universe other than Brahma appears to exist, it is unreal like the mirage which appears to be giving water in a desert.
