Atmabodha,-Revelling in FREEDOM, (S.-1, Ch.-8, V.-61)

यद्भासा भास्यतेऽर्कादि भास्यैर्यत्तु न भास्यते । येन सर्वमिदं भाति तद्ब्रह्मेत्यवधारयेत् ॥ ६१॥

yadbhāsā bhāsyate'rkādi bhāsyairyattu na bhāsyate । yena sarvamidaṃ bhāti tadbrahmetyavadhārayet ॥ 61॥

1 Yad bhaasaa bhaasyate arkaadi By the light of which the sun, etc, are illumined; 2 bhaasyaih yah tu na bhaasyate; but which is not illumined by those luminous orbs; 3 yena sarvam idam bhaati that by which all this shines – 4 tat brahma iti ava-dhaarayet. realize That to be Brahman.

All heavenly bodies are illuminated by Brahma and are shining. But Brahma is not illuminated by their light. It is once again confirmed in this sloka that but for the illuminating power of Brahma nothing can shine in this universe.
