1 Baahya-anitya-sukhaa-saktim Attachment for the fleeting joys of the outer world
– after having renounced these, and contented
2 hitva-aatma-sukha-nirvritah; with the bliss derived from the Self,
3 ghata-stha-deepa-vat shashvat: as a lamp placed inside a jar, forever
4 antah eva prakaashate: shines inwardly alone within himself.
|
The Jeevan Mukta who relinquishes all
his attachments to the illusory (Anitya) and
external (Bahya) happiness and is satisfied
with the bliss derived from Atma, shines
inwardly like a lamp placed in a pot.
As the Jeevanmukta detaches from all
sense organs, he turns the mind inward it will
be still without any dielusions. Then his mind
experiences this inward light of the
Supreme Brahma.
