Atmabodha,-Towards REALISATION, (S.-1, Ch.-7, V.-50) |
तीर्त्वा मोहार्णवं हत्वा रागद्वेषादिराक्षसान् ।
योगी शान्तिसमायुक्त आत्मारामो विराजते ॥ ५०॥ |
tīrtvā mohārṇavaṃ hatvā rāgadveṣādirākṣasān ।
yogī śāntisamāyukta ātmārāmo virājate ॥ 50॥ |

1 Teertvaa moha-arnavam hatvaa After crossing the ocean of delusion, killing
2 raga-dvesh-aadi raakshasaan; the monsters of likes, dislikes, etc,
3 yogee shanti-samaa-yuktah the Yogi who is united firmly with Peace
4 aatma raamah viraajite. becomes “Atma Rama”, one who revels in Self.

The Yogi who crosses the ocean of
Moha (delusion) and kills the demons called
likes and dislikes will be peaceful and dwells
in the glory of his own real self as an Atma
Rama.
Here the phrase Atma Rama is used
suggesting that Atma is godly like Rama, the
incarnation of Paramatma who crossed the
real ocean and killed demon Ravana.
