so'yamātmā'dhyakṣaramoṃkāro'dhimātraṃ pādā mātrā mātrāśca pādā akāra ukāro makāra iti ।। 1.1.8 ।। |
In regards to the syllable, that sacred syllable “Om” is this self. In regards to the measure, the quarters are the measures. The measures and quarters are: the “a” sound, the “u” sound, the “m” sound.
