अर्धोन्मीलितलोचनः स्थिरमना नासाग्रदत्तेक्षणश्
चन्द्रार्कावपि लीनतां उपनयन्निस्पन्दभावेन यः ।
ज्योतीरूपं अशेषबीजं अखिलं देदीप्यमानं परं
तत्त्वं तत्पदं एति वस्तु परमं वाच्यं किं अत्राधिकम् ॥ ४.४१ ॥ |
ardhonmīlitalocanaḥ sthiramanā nāsāgradattekṣaṇaś
candrārkāvapi līnatāṃ upanayannispandabhāvena yaḥ ।
jyotīrūpaṃ aśeṣabījaṃ akhilaṃ dedīpyamānaṃ paraṃ
tattvaṃ tatpadaṃ eti vastu paramaṃ vācyaṃ kiṃ atrādhikam ॥ 4.41 ॥ |

Locanaḥ: Eyes (Lochana)
Sthira: (with) motionless (sthira)
Manāḥ: Spirit (Manas)

With steady calm mind and half-closed eyes, fix the gaze on the tip of the nose, stop the Idâ and the Pingalâ
without blinking, and he who can see the light which is the all, the seed, the entire brilliant, great Tatwama,
