स्वात्मारामः
नमः शिवाय गुरवे नादबिन्दुकलात्मने ।
निरञ्जनपदं याति नित्यं तत्र परायणः ॥ ४.१ ॥ |
svātmārāmaḥ
namaḥ śivāya gurave nādabindukalātmane ।
nirañjanapadaṃ yāti nityaṃ tatra parāyaṇaḥ ॥ 4.1 ॥ |
Namas: worship, bowing (be, Namas)
Śivāya: Shiva
Gurave: the teacher, master (guru)
Nāda: sound (nada)
Bindu: Bindu ("point, drop")
Kalā *: (and) Kala ("moon's quarter" is)
Ttmane: (whose) beings (Atman)
Nirañjana: (the) makellosen (niranjana)
Padaṁ: Location, Condition (Pada)
Yāti: (the) reaches ("goes", yā)
Nityaṁ: daily ("always", Nitya)
Tatra: there (at the practice of Nada etc., Tatra)
Para-ayaḥaḥ: (whose) highest goal (Parayana) || 1 ||

We bow to the Gurû, the dispenser of happiness to all, appearing as Nâda, Bindû and Kalâ! One devoted to this teacher attains the highest bliss.
